Clutch Removal, Ski Doo

A few years back I put a comet clutch on a 94 Formula ??? Deluxe 583cc Ski Doo.
My Question is, Will the tool we purchased to remove the ski Doo Clutch Thread in and pull the comet clutch ? I Know that the mounting bolts were different.
And/or is there another way to remove it without a removal tool ?

Tip the sled on its side. Take out the clutch bolt. Fill the hole with water. Put teflon tape around the clutch bolt and screw it in. This causes a hydraulic affect and will pop the clutch off, as long as it hasen't been on there for 15 yrs.

Before doing so, pour HOT water over the center shaft of clutch.
