Clutching ZL600

I have a 2000 ZL 600 that needs a new clutch. The orginial lasted for 5,000 plus miles, would it be best to replace with OEM or maybe a aftermarket, (Comet clutch?). I think I'm going to reclutch to a 2001 ZL clutching, which for riding like we do, seems alot better than ther higher engagement of the 2000. Any suggestions? Are the comet springs / weights the same sizing as the OEM weights / springs?

Thanks!

If it were me I would go oem for that machine unless you have tons of mods and want to race it. You can pick up a good used one and save some money over new aftermarket. If you want to change engagement and shifting then the factory clutch will have available from your dealer a selection of heavier and softer springs and different weights to play with and give you any rpm engagement and shift you would want.
BTW welcome aboard!
