I just got my 2000 MXZ back from getting a complete rebuild and had it running for about 5 minutes or so and I noticed one of the headlight bulb (on low beam) blew out and then a few seconds later, the other one got real bright and blew too. (Here I will have to assume they blew because I have not removed them to check.) Engine did not seem to miss a beat and I continued to run it with the headlights on high beam. They seemed normal...Got a little brighter with higher RPMs.
Is this just coincedence that both L/Bs went? Could there have been a pinched wire during rebuild? Why did one side go and then the other? If it was a pinched wire, wouldn't they both do at the same time? Why didn't the H/Bs go too? What can I check?
Thanks
