College Hockey, Frozen Four

I don't know if there are many college hockey fans on JD but I think there are a few.

The Frozen Four starts this afternoon with Boston College playing Union in the first game and Minnesota playing North Dakota in the late game. This is BC's 25th time in the frozen four and they are looking for their sixth national title while Union is in its second frozen four looking for its first title. MN is in its 21st frozen four and is also looking for its 6th title while North Dakota is in its 20th frozen four and looking for its 8th title. MN and ND did not play each other this year for the first time since the late 40's but get to play for the 291st time in the tournament.

Disappointing weekend, but hey we still riot either way, ha! Making minnesota look bad when people do that...

Union Boston game one of the very best ever. UND outplayed MN but lost. Hockey is like that sometimes. Best team won the championship. And I am from MN.
