Fantastic Game! Well Played, Well Coached! Enjoyed every second of it, Congratulations! I would also like to add congratulations to the Class "D" champions, St. Ignace Saints who were down by as much as 20 points & came back to win in overtime. Two U.P. girls teams as State Champions in 2015, Class "C" & Class "D", you don't see that every day. U..P Power!-Mezz

what do these letters mean.
is like like division C is the same as division 3?
like division A would be the same as division 1 and would most of the time have the best teams?

The letters do correspond to the numbers. So Div C would be like Div 3. It is based on school size and in general the larger schools have a larger pool of players to pull from, so will typically be better, but up here some of the local Div C teams play Div B teams and beat them.

as I figured.
down here also some smaller schools and divisions could easily beat bigger schools from better divisions.

The high schools are referred to as "Class" A, B, C, D, and as John stated, are based on the school sizes. We have a unique situation in our area where competition in given classes have only so many schools to compete with, as such, in order to make a full schedule, they ultimately have to play some schools in other classes. The games with teams out of the given classes are known as "Non-Conference" games.-Mezz
