Just arrived tonight in the keweenaw for the weekend and seen there is sled dog races. Are the trails closed during a certain time or particular trails that are closed? We are staying in the Mohawk area and would appreciate knowing where we can and cannot go.

usually not. Just keep an Eye out for them. My wife love riding up there when race is on. Very neat to see.
