Copper Falls state park

Spent last weekend camping at Copper Falls State Park near Mellen, WI. Had a great time, weather was good, hiking was good. It's a very anti-dog park though. Dogs basically were not allowed anywhere other than campsites. Couldn't be in the picnic area, couldn't take them on the hiking trails, etc... Odd for a State Park.

Yamahachick, as much as I'd like to take credit for the great picture with the rainbow, until you pointed it out I hadn't even noticed it!

Samc, it's 70 steps to the top of the observation tower, not too bad but thats on top of the 144 steps to get to the top of the hill where the tower is located (yes, we actually counted them all) After going up the tower my kids said they were done with hiking.
