Could be the last ride around here.

My plan is to ride 150 miles on Friday...who's with me?

Which way you gonna head? We're hitting the trails on Friday as well (hopefully not for the last time). Leaving from Tomah and probably heading to Millston and down to the Sparta area. Maybe pass you somewhere on the trail. What ya riding I'll watch for ya if you head this way.

I might be in that area, I'll be on my own riding a 2006 black F7.

I already took friday off of work. Leaving at 6 am. Hope to do 250 miles. Atleast. I was hoping this warm up would never come. Been riding these last few nights at -10 and the snow is hard as a rock. Corners like its on rails!! Love it.

Hey Polarisman,

How are the trails up that way? We're contemplating a trip to Tomah this weekend but were conerned about the conditions.

Is there enough snow to withstand temps in the 30's?

Thanks for any help!

The trails are great.....for right now. I was out 2 days ago and had awesome trails. I do not believe there is enough snow down to last through the warmup though. 10 day forcast shows above freezing temps for like 7 days straight. My bet is they'll be shot by mid-week. Better ride tomorrow or Saturday if you can!

Rode Northeast Vernon Today and some of Norhtwest Sauk, hopeing to go tomorrow too. As soon as it gets too warm Sauk closes quick. Think we have a good base, but that is a lot of warm looking days next week. Hit em hard next 2 days I think. Trails in these areas today were sweet.

Rode out of the Holiday Inn in Tomah last Friday and Saturday, and all we could say was "Spectacular" and "Awesome".

Trails were in great shape as a lot of grooming had been done and very few sleds had been out. Obviously we saw more sleds on Saturday, but not as many as expected. Temps were good while we were there, but I guess there won't be much left after the warm up.

Tip o' the cap to the groomers in the area, thanks very much!

yep, we rode out of Reedsburg area northwest to sparta and it was all good. Ran into the groomer out more than once. Almost every trail we were on between Reedsburg and Sparta was awesome. They are getting bare in spots pretty quick here in Reedsburg. More snow next week?
