NWS is showing 46 degrees for Monday in Cable, WI. I'm taking my 2 boys on their first trip to this area and can't believe the warming trends that are being predicted?? Please somebody walk me off the ledge. This is a spendy trip, to be sitting in a cabin and not ridding. Thoughts??

They have plenty of snow up there, maybe some road crossings will get fun, but other than that, one or two days in the 40's won't kill it yet.

Plenty of snow up there! You'll be fine! Lots of riding in the forests and the trails are not affected by the sun. The warmth will make the snow soft but it'll all be good!

Definately not warm enough to stay in the cabin. Don't have to worry about getting cold. Sounds like it will be a good trip to me. It would have to be in the 60's to ruin the trails that fast with the snow they have.

We've been in Drummond all week there's lots of snow everywhere. If the trails around Cable are to bumpy by next week Ashland county is right next door and those
Trails are table top smooth and sweet. Enjoy your time with your boys.

Bingo. Just returned from there. They have more snow there than they have had for many years. The firelanes will be over and the road crossings will be bare but there is plenty of snow in the woods. Ashland county trails near perfect. Price county also good. Tuscobia Corridor excellent. North of HWY 2 excellent and will be for awhile. Less snow to the west but still should be able to go. If you get down the the Chip Flowage or any lakes for that matter stay on the sticks as there is slush. Also they let out about 8 feet of water from the Chip Flowage so watch out for big rollers here and there. Trail 63 trashed north and east of Benoit because there is so much snow they can't even get a groomer through. DON'T CANCEL.
