Crankcase oil ?

Is the lower crankcase of a 95 Polaris soaked in oil? How do the bearings get their lube.

No oil in the crank case. The gas/oil mixture passes through the crank case & up into the cylinders. This mist coats the bearings & cylinder walls.

Amazing how that little amount of oil lubes the crankshaft & related components. That's why either roller or ball bearings are used in 2 strokes.
