Crossfire Loose Suspension Bolt

I have a 2006 Crossfire. There is a bolt on left foot side of the tunnel that keeps working loose. It is for the front A - arm suspension. I knew to look out for this when I bought the sled as I have seen some that worked loose and they kept on riding. They had a mess. The tunnel where the bolt goes through was destroyed. My question is does anyone know of a long term fix for this problem?

Loctite and proper torque has always worked for me. If the tunnel hole is that damaged you may want to have a plate installed so you have good contact between the lockwasher and the tunnel.

Tighten that one tight and use loctite. Give that a shot of grease often because that is what is causing it to loosen when the bushing binds because it is dry. Carry a 9/16 wrench with you and check it often so it does not egg shape your mounting hole.

This is not a typical problem, been running the same sled since 06, no issues, though I do check over the sled pretty thoroughly periodically & especially preseason. Sounds like this bolt has been loose for quite some time & now you have a major issue. Look for a good fabricator & welder, then use a new nut & bolt with Loctite.-Mezz
