Crystal Falls to Gwinn??

Trying to plan a backpack trip leaving the truck from Iron River, was wondering if anyone had any information that could help me out? The stretch I am worried about is from Crystal Fall to Gwinn (approx. 55miles) is the trail groomed and will I have any carbides left once I get there?? Guessing everything north from there will be good.? Thanks for any help, always appreciated

Has anyone been in this area lately? Wanting to leave Monday morning and head up, would really appreciate any information on conditions.

My info is old, but, before the thaw Crystal Falls to Iron River was VERY THIN. We ran it but, we were banging our skis in the rocks a lot. I dont Know how much snow they have recieved since the thaw. Best I can do.

I have not ridden the trails you are asking about. I am familiar with the area. The only snow we got replaced what we lost during the thaw. If it was thin before it will most likely be thin now. I'm kinda curious myself about the conditions in this area
