I have an 2000 artic cat zl 600 I think i may have a bad piston and need to find out what the compression on the cylinders is supposed to be.
Does anyone know what the compression is supposed to be?
Thanks in advance

Generally on a twin, the compression is around 125-135. sometimes higher, depending on the model. Triples can be little lower sometimes, they like to rev more. Important thing is that they should be within 10% of each other. If you have comp. near or below 100 psi. you need to tear it down. Note that not all guages are the same, hence the 10% rule.
If yours seem too low, try another guage for comparison.

I did rings on a 600 triple when the readings were 90 100 105
got em up to 110 107 105. What are the current readings?
