Was this a good deal for Da Bears? IDK???? ....Torn on this one Bennett is a great tightend not easy to replace..... Hmmmm At least he didn't go to GB :)

Yes good trade for sure, for both teams, he was done in Chicago, they were going to release him anyway as he was starting to be a headcase, pace not putting up with it as he shipped marshall away for same reasons. NE wont put up with his BS either. Shut up or get out. So the bears get a 4th round pick and free up over 6mill in cap space.

I like Zach miller anyway, guy plays for the right reasons and is talented, if he can stay healthy

Bears have been quietly doing very well this offseason. They signed the #2 and #3 ranked ILB's in the NFL for pretty cheap. Only ILB ranked ahead of them was Luke Keichly.

With 10 draft pics and still a whole pile of money left to spend, they should have a decent squad next year

Yes I like the players Pace has signed too the 2 LBs were excellent signings & great additions for 3-4. I agree Bennett was somewhat of a pita but he was underpaid... but a contract is a contract. On the other hand Bennett was very productive where Miller is productive too but not durable at all. Pace could very well package up players & draft choices & move up in the draft or do a trade for something he needs badly. To me highly unlikely Pace will just draft in place now just not his style & always talking trades with other teams. I have to stay on top of Pace each day so far almost a signing or trade every other day in the last week or so..... I like it! lol
