Day-tripping from Munising

Greetings,
Making a 3 day trip late January and using Munising area as a base. Looking for any time-tables of approx. sled-time (average speed, average stops) for destinations in any direction outward. We tend to ride as far or slightly further than the average UP weekend warrior.

Adam, Some recommended stops while in Munising...... Tahquamenon falls..... Big spring..... Jack Pine (to eat) ask about elija the indian if he is still there..... Eben ice cave ( unless they have changed access be prepared to walk ) Don't recall mileage or times, Tahquamenon falls was a long day ride but worth it.

Big Bay is also a 200+ mile day. Sounds like some of the route could be closed until mid January.

Make the run from Munising to Paradise, MI and back and do the loop near the "Shipwreck museum" near where the Edmund Fitzgerald went down (if you are spiritual, you may feel the ghosts). Gotta leave early in the AM to get back around darkish. On the way out of Munising you will need gas in Grand Marais, MI, again in Paradise and once again in Grand Marais on the way home. From what I remember, it was about 320 miles round trip. One caveat, you will need to go mid-week to assure reasonably good trails on the return part of the trip.
