I would say that we have a good 6" of snow in the Manitowish Waters area overnight. Lots of blowing and drifting.

We drove from the Green Bay Area to Phillips last night. I wish we would have left home about an hour earlier because the last hour of our drive was pretty much white out. it looks like about 10“ of snow overnight 7 miles west of Phillips with more on the way. We were down to bare grass yesterday. Things can change fast!

Revising snowfall total in MW to 8+" perhaps up to 12" in certain areas. Just got back from Minocqua and they seemed to get a good dose in the 6-8" range. Hard to tell because of the blowing and drifting. This is certainly good news for 1st day of open trails in Vilas. Would imagine that Oneida would be possibly opening once they assess their trails.

I would guess about 7" or so here in Iron River, WI. I see the Brainerd, MN got a good amount, about 15-18".

The weather service said 8.2 inches here in Grand Forks which is on the low end of the forecast but I will take it. We got about 13 inches for the week with another 2 to 4 forecast for tomorrow morning but our high temperatures are supposed to be below zero into next week after today

7.5" in Lando measured in a more open area. It stopped for a few hours and now starting up but only light snow showers. Hopefully I can get out for a trail check today.

2" in northeast Green Bay at about 10am. Probably would have been closer to 3" if I had measured at 6am. Probably down to about an inch now as it has been in the upper 30's most of the day with drizzle. At least its white again.

Crazy what happens in 6 days.
Drove to Green Bay for XMAS and came back to TRF with the same foot plus snowing since 7AM today.
Hwy 2 from Proctor, MN to Cass Lake, MN is basically black ice in the West bound lane for the entire ride..not changing anytime soon with the cold and new snow..worst roads I've seen in..maybe ever..glad I drove through at 4AM..just keep her straight.

We ended up with another 5 plus inches today and at 9:30 the air temperature is already down to 25 below, I wonder what it will be by tomorrow morning
