Dish reception

John, when we used to get snow here in SE MN I would loose reception when the snow built up on the sat dish. Is yours functioning properly with all that snow on it?? Is it some kind of supercharged reciever or something?? lol

Some of my HD local channels drop when snowing like mad. Just have to switch to standard def. (chicago locals in UP) Otherwise, no issues.

That's the dish for the satellite internet. I don't use it anymore as we switched to MiFi. It probably would not be working too well with that snow on it, but the snow was pretty fluffy and that did not cause as much of a problem as the wet and heavy stuff did. Have not had to clear off the dish for TV yet.

I have satellite internet & Tv seems to go on the blink when wet snow builds on the cone only had to clear internet dish once in 10 years & Tv dish is on the balcony deck so easy to clear. This dry snow does not stick to either dish.
