We will be starting in Seney staging area and heading to Taquamenon Falls. Can someone give me approximate distance (via sled of course) ?

Thanks!

The shortest way is 431 North East to 9 South East to 45 North, about 70 miles. There is a plowed to the gravel section that is about 4 miles long with NO shoulder to lube or cool on 45 just out of Newberry on the rail grade to the falls, good luck with that especially this weekend with 40 + temps. The long way 431 North to 442 North to 8 East to 45 South is about 110 if you take the short cut, straight at the big yellow arrow or cut across the parking lot at the groomer barn & bypass Paradise.

Will this be the same groomer that does the trails east of Newberry? I am bringing my wife up, so where I start will not be a problem. Just want a short ride on her new Ski Doo.

Newberry was pretty shot in and North of town on teusday. That bare road on 45 was brutal. I would stay north of pine stump. Maybe drive to Tahquamenon falls and ride from there. There is a lot of snow from Munising to Paradise but it gets thinner south.

Thank you for the great advice. We put in at the Falls and went north and had a great 80 mile day. Conditions were 9/10
