Hi John, do you remember the name of the family you got your labs from in Dixon, Il? My family has bred labs on and off in Dixon since the early 90's. I just had to ask when I seen your special animal friends were from my hometown of Dixon. I am sorry for your loss of your great friend Burt. Dan Healy

I do not remember the name of the family that we got Burt and Baileys from. It was back in February of 1996. I vaguely remember the home being on the outskirts of town, but still in more of a residential area than pure farm country. It also seems like it was on the southeast side of Dixion, but I cannot be sure of that. There was a girl in the house too, probably around 5-7 years old. She had them all named. Burt was Nick and Baileys was Honey.

I dont think that would have been us, we didn't have any little ones around at that time. I still think thats neat they came from Dixon though, what a small world it is. Thanks John, and have a great summer. And as always, think snow! Dan
