Where do we ride snowmobiles to for the transport service? Is it the welcome centers? Please send info on how it works. Thank you. Bill

The Mackinac Bridge Authority provides a snowmobile transport service. For those traveling northbound, the pick up site is the Welcome Center located on Nicolet Street in Mackinaw City. There is a public phone at the Welcome Center. If traveling southbound, our pick up point is located at the corner of US 2 and Service Drive near the interchange with I 75 in St. Ignace. There is a public phone at the Shell Gas Station near the pick up point. Our phone number is 906 643 7600.
The service is provided 7 days a week from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. The service is provided on an as needed basis. There is a fee of $15.00 per snowmobile and driver and $3.50 for a passenger. Thank you for your interest in the Mackinac Bridge.
