Drizzle and trails

I'm curious if the moist snow showers or freezing drizzle will help create a stronger trail base? Certainly the areas lacking snow could be significantly harmed.

As long as traffic is not excessive and damages the trail while the drizzle is occurring, then once the trail freezes it could be more solid. However, the consistency of the snow on the trail will also be different and lot likely to hold a grooming as long, so in general I would not say it is a particularly good thing to have happen. Better to get snow.
