DVD software question

i have been lugging my kids dvd's from the house to the trucks and to the cabin and its getting old, so i want to copy all there dvd's so i can have a set at the cabin and the trucks, so my question is, what do i need to copy my dvd's, is there any software out there to download or buy, let me know if anyone does this, thanks fastercat

If I were to engage in such 'activity', I use and recommend "Slysoft" software. Easy and works well.

I have had the same problem. We travel a lot with the kids and the DVD's have gotten scratched, lost and are cumbersome to lug around. I use handbrake http://handbrake.fr/ . Its free, what I do is rip the DVD to my computer and then send it to itunes and voila. We just figure out what movies we will want and then download them to all of our ipod touches, we have 4 of them and we never seem to run out of space.
