Has anyone been to Dyersville to the toy museum? We are thinking of going around the 1st of April. We have 5 and 7 yr. old boys and I think they would enjoy it. Is it worth the 5 hour drive, is there more to see than just the museum. I appreciate any advice.

Thanks
-Jon

Been there, across the road is the factory store where they have alot of the company items for sale. There is also the field of dreams movie site nearby, last time I was down there a buddy went in quickly to the museum and said it was worth it. I'm not so sure about the boys, but the Mississippi river museum in Dubuque may be of interest for them more so as they have various animals from along the river.

Ertl or the company formerly known as Ertl. John Deere is an hour to an hour and a half south of there in Moline, just take highway 61 (4 lanes) there.

If you go to John Deere, the kids have to be 13 to go on a plant tour.
