The E.A.A. is just down the road from us here in Neenah. Close enough that many of the older piston engine planes are seen and heard flying overhead throughout the convention. I especially enjoy the warbirds. They park a B 17 next to our hangar at ATW and they sell individual rides during that week. The price for a ticket is kind of steep, around 600 or so, but how many of us can say we rode in a B17?

Definitely one for the Bucket List!

You like old warbirds?

If you like old warbirds, you'll love this video Warbird mountain flying. The scenery isn't too bad either, and the music's an excellent fit! (2min+45sec)
This video was shot last November as part of the Commemorative Air Force's participation at a Veteran's Day celebration in the Phoenix, Arizona, area. Filmed over the Superstition Mountains east of Mesa and over Saguaro and Canyon lakes on the east edge of the Phoenix valley, the backdrops are stunning, enhanced by the soaring music from the HBO miniseries John Adams.

Love Oshkosh - Headed either up to Land-o-lakes or Air Venture in a couple weeks. It's a great time, usually camp for a couple of days. Never really liked air shows until I went my first show @ Oshkosh show.

Did you hear about "Liberty Belle" last month. Only nine B-17 flying now. It was in Aurora giving rides. I saw it take off for it's last flight. Fortunately everybody got out ok.

Always have been wanting to go to this one for quite a long time but it doesn't work out for me plus it is always hard to just pick one day so I have talked myself out of it as well. Hopefully some day I can attend.
