Guess the male in VA had himself a lady friend and he dumped her for a younger lady friend...initial concern was that she was a little TOO young? Haven't read discussion of late to find out why no eggs yet...

There's some crazy people in that discussion board for Va eagles...not like I wasn't incredibly sad last year when the mom eagle died...but some of these people were just bonkers. My mom was the one who told me about the folks in discussion that were questioning the boy bird's judgement. Um...he's a bird? Not a human husband with his secretary?! Doh! :D

Looks like just a lot of sitting for the Iowa eagles...

No eggs at ALL for the VA male and his lady friends. Think he is on #4 now?? hubba hubba

3 eggs in Decorah. I think the first is set to hatch around the 25th, then a few days apart for the others.

2 babies out of their eggs. One looks like it JUST hatched. Just saw breakfast of fish delivered with the "changing" of the sitting by the mom and dad. The 1st hatchling is looking nice and strong for such a tiny little thing!

Some great video at supper time today. Both adults working to feed the yougsters. Pretty cool to see the whole family up and at 'em like that. What a cool idea setting up the camera. Kudos to those involved.
