Eau Claire and Chippewa Counties

[40th RTX]

A group of us left from Seymour Town Hall at 1:00pm yesterday. We rode north on Corridor 31, took the Budweiser Trail over to Stanley and then Corridor 27 up to Cadott. Had dinner and then took the Old Abe Trail down towards Chippewa Falls. Then took Corridor 31 back to Seymour. Trails were really nice.

Heard the snow was a little better the further east you went where you guys rode. I threw a quick 130 on the sled yesterday in St. Croix, Barron, and Dunn counties yesterday between 10 and 3 - Trails were pretty good, short of the few chissell plowed fields some trails crossed - Thanks to NextGen Polaris in Clear Lake for letting me use their tools to replace a broken carbide 40 miles into the ride!

IF the forecast holds, trails will be closing rather quickly next week/end.

Gotta go when there's snow!
