Eau Claire area

Anyone tell me the snow cover in the Eau Claire area? We have some Cell Phone Tower work to do in that area & want to know what to expect for snow depth, we are 5 hours south in Iowa. Need to drive back in a farm field to get to tower, need to know if we can get to it with a 4x4 truck or do we need an ATV? Or?. Any help is appreciated. Thanks

That is really a loaded question, the snow depth varies depending on terrain. Lot of drifts ext. As for the average snow depth it is down to bare ground in some area's where sun hits, and 2' where shaded. I would suggest bringing the ATV to be safe. Even if the snow depth wouldn't hold you back the surface mud may be pretty greasy for the truck.
