Not pertaining to hunting property, but on our lake in Barry County we knew of one that had died in our lake about a month ago & figured EHD before they were really talking about it. Just got back from a boat ride around our lake & saw two more dead (one was a small buck) & saw one alive yet in the woods but not at all startled by us, so that will make four total when that deer dies. Talked to someone else in Barry County whose dad is retired & has been driving & walking around to look for them & had found 99 as of Sunday. Don't know if they reported or not but if they did & they are telling the truth about how many they have seen, then either not many are reporting or it is a lot worse than what they are saying, if just one individual has seen that many. Another person we talked to knew of someone who had found 14. Another mentioned the youth hunt & they had found a couple of really nice bucks. It's such an awful thing & so hard to think about an animal or anyone having to suffer like that.
