Ok, so my weekend ended on a bad note and I took a digger on the sled. Rolled the old girl over a couple times but fortunately with minimal damage except for my electrical went out. So here is the scenario:

I flipped the sled back upright and started it up. At that time all electricronics were working fine. After shutting the machine off, I started messing with repositioning the brake mechanism, realizing that my wires for the hand warmer were ripped out of the element (guaranteed those wires touched eachother in the process). Went to go start the sled and nothing electronic works ( headlights, taillight, dashboard, handwarmers) with the exception of the fact that my engine starts and runs great (fuel injected) and my perc reverse works fine as well.

Whats the deal? Is there an inline fuse that might have blown? What should I be looking for? I did go thru the connectors as well as I could while sitting on the trail but not positive all are connected. Planning on doing that tonight. HELP!!!

Thanks,

Remove the plastic cover on top of the belt guard and you will find several inline fuses. Use a volt meter and test each circuit and hopefully you will find your problem. My wife rolled her '09 shift 136 last monday and her heated shield stopped working. In our case it was the small 2 amp fuse.
Good luck...

Craig-
Thanks for the info. I haven't had a chance to really look at things other than trailside in the cold. I know exactly where you are talking about and will keep ya posted. I'm hoping it is an easy fix.

Craig-

I pulled up wire schematics and there is 1 35 amp relay in the wiring harness. Tested it and found it to be faulty. a trip to my local dealer and $15 later with new relay in hand and problem solved. Easy fix. Thanks for your input. SLED ON!
