Have a 2003 Polaris 600 Classic. Electric fuel gauge stopped working. Checked float in tank, it seems alright. Is there a sending unit that goes bad? Thanks
Is the gauge stuck on empty . I have a classic too and mine got stuck on 3/4 tank. The float unit in bottom of tank was jammed. I think it happened when I was siphoning gas out of tank. Had sled at dealer to be serviced and they pushed float back down. Never have had a problem since.
I Went in through the top of tank and moved the float up and down. Still does not register. It's stuck on empty. I have a half tank in sled. Pushed float down and it came back up.
