thanks,
I just ordered 30 ft of 5630 led strip lighting, more than I think needed, but found it cheap, 17 bucks for it all shipped to me, waterproof too!

so will see how it goes

mrbb, could you post where you found those lights?

yeah sure , these are what I ordered, two sets of them, found them on EBay, was referred to these by someone that has them and said very happy with them, so on that and price I figure I will try them, should have them Mid this week some time and then try and get them in, will take some before and after pic's too, as long as I don't forget,, as some times I get rolling and forget to do that LOL
but will try and do before and after
OH and these are NOT waterproof, I mis read them, but not worried about water top be honest up on the roof where I plan to mount them
just a heads up, NOT waterproof!

Hey thxs.I was on Ebay after I saw your post, but missed those.I wonder if a regular inline toggle switch would work on them?cant see why not.

I see no reason a simple toggle switch wouldn't work either, I plan to either add one or use the switch to the lights in trailer now, if I go add on switch, I will also add a battery and a charger set up , to charge battery when truck is towing trailer, they seem easy enough to add to things!
