Does anyone know of a good engine/machine shop in the western burbs (Naperville/Plainfield/Aurora/Joliet area) that will bore and hone the cylinders for a Yamaha Superjet (2 stroke) for a decent price ($100 range for both cylinders)?
Can't help with a shop but that sounds about the correct price. I had a couple of 650 cylinders bored a few years back for $80.
Try to find a cycle shop.
I use Pfiefer Engine Service in Freeport, Il.(West of Rockford about 25 mls). They're farther away then you were looking for but are a great shop that do great work. If your interested thier # is 815-233-2267 & ask for Rick.
