Excellent Avalanche Info and Video's

This is an awesome discussion about avalanche safety and also shows some good video's to learn from other people's mistakes. Sorry JD for the re-route to another site but I thought this was really good info that has to be shared. If your gonna try to be the king of the hill I would highly recommend one of Mike Duffy's avy training classes.

Another good example that most of us don't think can happen...

This is a good example of a terrain trap. The avy wasn't triggered from the top or even the middle of the slope, it was triggered from the base while riding in the gully. Big exposure and bad place to be in, no where to run.
