Anyone know how expedia works w hotels.....I find it odd there are so many hotels w Only one room left
couple weeks ago we stayed over by St. Germain and when I booked expedia stated sold out
I called the front desk and they had several rooms...i told the guy about expedia he said he was going to look into it
this weekend 2.13.16 the entire North WI area from Lac du flam to Eagle river is almost full or only one room left
reminds me of Brady Bunch when Peter was selling

My guess would be, and it is strictly a guess, is that it works pretty much the same as flights......they have a fixed number of rooms set aside at the expedia rate......and if they're not booked by a certain date they revert to the hotel, etc.

St. Germain area is pretty much booked up for this weekend, hard to find a opening at this point. The radar runs are Saturday on little St. Germain lake.

That's exactly it. Expedia takes a pretty good % of the top, so typically they only want to allow so many rooms to be booked that way.

Better off to call the hotel directly. My brother booked us rooms in Munising last week through Expedia at the Magnuson and they were $110.00 a night. We talked to the girls at the front desk and direct booking with them the rooms were $79.88 a night. I just double checked and those numbers are correct.
