f8 Ski Alignment

As I've said in a couple other threads I just picked up a 07 f8. This weekend I finally had a chance to really go through it and noticed the skis seem to be towed in. They are equal in their angel, but definitely do not go straight forward. Is this a normal set-up? How do I adjust this if I need too?

Probably set from the factory that way. While the book says to do that, I set all my sleds with zero toe and seems to work best for my occasional trail ride and off trail doesn't really matter.

Cut a 2x4 to the exact length between the skis at the spindle and move the board forward until you can just get it between the toes and this should get you zero toe in, while adjusting both sides equally to move the toes out.

Save the 2x4 in your garage and check the skis each year with it. Saves work and let's you know quickly if your kids hit a tree or wacked it on a stump.

Haven't been out to work, or look it over since my first post, so maybe this is an obvious question, but what do I need to loosen to change be able to adjust them?

See below. Loosen 14 & 16 and adjust 15 equally on both sides.

The proper way to check the ski toe is to place a straight edge along the edge & length of the track which needs to be long enough to extend next to the ski. if you use a piece of lumber, be certain it is absolutely straight. With your handle bars horizontal, measure the distance from your straight edge to the inside of the ski at the tail & at the last flat portion of the ski at the front. Adjust accordingly per the above.-Mezz

Thanks guys, planning to work on it this weekend if I get the honey do list done being Mothers day and all. If not, it will still be there next weekend. Let you know how far out it was, and how it went.
