Hello first post. Next week two of us will be riding trails between Watersmeet, Rockland, Bergland, Twin lakes and who knows where else we will end up. Is there a place for gas in or around Bergland?

We are looking forward to the fall colors. How’s it looking do you think we are early?

Any local ATV rides or gatherings going on?

Thanks, all.

The last couple of years the colors seem to have come early in the Keweenaw. We usually get out on the four wheelers the last week of Sept but I couldn't get off at work so we decided to go a week early. I'm still going to try and get the first weak off in October and do some more riding and hopefully there will still be some colors and we wont be too late.

Good to know about gas in Bergland it has been years since I have been through there.

Rode several days and the colors got better with each day as you would expect. We rode the BN on Saturday and the colors around the Fire Steel trestles was the best. Would of been better if the sun would have come out. In my opinion the colors will peak this week or by the this weekend from Mass City to South Range.

Hopefully the wind will stay light because we are planning to ride the BN and other areas again this weekend.

Crystal Falls!

Yes indeed! The fall colors here in Iron County are just about peeked!! The views are spectacular. Trail conditions are good and the weather forcast for the week is about perfect!! Clear sky and temps. in the upper 60's to 70!! This is the perfect time to come to Iron County and enjoy a good ride and the great scenery!!For additional trail or lodging info. you can call (906) 875-3117. Or when you are in our area you can stop in at The Chippewa Resort, located on Hwy. U.S. 2, 4 miles west of Crystal Falls and right on Trail #16, "The Chippewa Trail" for great food and refreshments! And remember when you are on the trail, "Ride Smart, Ride Safe"!
