It looks like the wife and I will be heading to the U.P. for our anniversary. I was wondering if I could get some opinions on when and where to go. A guided atv or utv tour is on our list to do. Opinions on lodging and things to do or see would be great also.thanks in advance

1st or 2nd week of October for sure. I only know the western UP so will say go somewhere out there.

MI-TRALE is having their senior citizen ride on the 22nd of Sept. Can't say for sure what the color will be. Every year it is the last Thursday of the month. Last year the color was amazing at that time. The year before not so good. I am thinking like cuzzinloaf 1st or 2nd week in Oct. If you are looking for a place to stay we rent out fully furnished houses. We are located in Rockland MI which is located in the Western UP.
