The locals agronomists here kicked out a 6 month forecast today. Warm and dryer than normal for next 3 months. Dry until august - just in time for harvest. There is no snow to speak of here so there will be very minimal runoff. Setting up for mini drought for spring planting. Your models mesh?

There is no way to put a forecast for that time frame together that is reliable. Not that I am saying what they predict will not come true, but if it does, it will be way more luck than skill.

Figured as much. The groundhog is probably just as reliable. Also an old timer used to say that when the pigs carry big sticks in their mouths beware the locusts. Farmers just need something to complain about.
