Ok not quite the same. But yesterday around 8 am. started snowing in Appleton area. Local forecasters were calling for 1", maybe 2" in some areas.

Got home from work around 3pm shoveled driveway about 1.25' already. Watched news said maybe another 1" to 2".

Woke up to fresh 5" in driveway! sweet!!
Cleaned Up driveway and went in and wife had news on and they're NOW, after the fact, calling in winter storm Charlie. lol
Can you name a storm that you didn't predict??

Oh, and it's still snowing out:)!!!

John- where did this all come from? System? or Lake effect?
Better get that Kitty down here! lol
I seriously cannot believe we have more snow than you!!!!

Few pics-

We got about 3" of fresh stuff yesterday too. It was a nice topper to the 18" we got last week. We needed it too, just to freshen things up. I do wish the rest of the state would get some snow so all the sled traffic would go elsewhere!

I feel the same way down here in waupun. Had to have picked up 5" since yesterday morning. On top of the 18" we got a week or so ago. Trails are awesome down here.

Eagle1, you better get that garden hose unhooked from the faucet. They are not "freezeless" if you have a hose hooked to it. Could burst your pipes in the house. May need to pour hot water over the connection at this point to get that unhooked.

We got just enough snow to get the sleds off the trailer and blow the cob webs out, about 4.5 inches, it was nice to give them a quick run down the lane.

ha, ha thanks for your concern. Have a shut off valve 2' inside basement, no water at outside faucet. Hose is (mostly) drained of water also.

On a snow note, flurried all day til about 4pm. Not sure what was nicer, the snow or listening to non lovers complain about it. :D

Even more amazing it has stayed cold and we have not lost any and it is supposed to get even colder! Here in North West Illinois we only
Saw 2 inches from that storm, but its still here, just teasing us!
