Kuenzi gets 23 years in prison for fatal hit-and-run

The Waupaca man convicted in a more than six-year old fatal hit and run will spend 23 years behind bars.

This past November a jury took less than two hours to convict Rory Kuenzi in the death of Kevin McCoy.

Kuenzi faced up to 40 years in prison for that deadly hit and run and homicide while operating a vehicle under the influence.

Besides the 23-year prison sentence, Kuenzi will also have 26 years of extended supervision once he is released.

With any luck, he won't survive the 23 yrs! What a piece of crap...why do we have to feed him 3 squares a day and give him a bed to sleep in? I'll sell ya one bullet, real cheap.

Now we need to find out when his first parole hearing is, then show-up in numbers to ensure he stays behind bars.

from what i believe he will only serve about half of that. usually thats how it works. so he will get like 12.5 years if im right. but its still a shame
