The wife and I finally made the trip north to Pats to pick up her Viper. One down, one to go! Thanks Kip for the friendly service today, your place is the best!
We also decided to drop the trailer at Kips and take a ride north of the bridge. Drove up to Copper Harbor and had lunch at the Mariner. We then took the scenic route back over Brockway and down to Eagle Harbor and Eagle River. Man, the big lake was angry today!! What some beautiful scenery up here in the Kee. Even though the leaves are down, it is just an amazing place. We had a great time just driving and talking. A relaxing day was had. We made our way back down to Greenland and picked up the trailer and got as far as the casino in Watersmeet and called it a day. I feel so fortunate to be able to visit a place like the UP, and am proud to have been born there. My dad was from the UP and my mom was from Kentucky, and when my friends in Green Bay heard that, they said, that explaines a lot, lol. Anyway, it is such a beautiful place, with or withou snow!
