First bonfire of the year

Snowmobiling trip to Central Minn. was cancelled due to lack of snow.

Made the best of a 50 degree day in Northern Illinois by spending a couple hours by a bonfire in the backyard with my wife and daughter; on February 27th.

A pretty good trade in my book.

Good for you, that's great! We decided to get a fire going this afternoon also. I love sitting by the fire.

I gathered up sticks that fell from the trees all winter today. Piled em up in the fire pit for the first fire. We'll hold out for a bit yet. I like to sit and watch the fire, but we haven't got the chairs n stuff out of storage yet. Heck, there's lots of "nuisance" winter weather yet. More nuisance snow this week...
