We got out for our first real ride in the Keweenaw today..The snow was ok, we need some add'l snow though, to really hoop it up....It is a ton better than cutting the grass...

So here are a few shots..When we got near the high point of the Keweenaw the snow was about 2-3 feet or so, but no bottom yet... Still was a blast..

A couple of more shots as well here...Stack got his first ride on his new 2010 M8 and it looks sweet...He did Nancy it a tad as he didn't want to plug it under Stachler stump...We were in the area of that...After some coaching he was able to go through a small creek with Mezz and I....

Here are two more

Always good to see a pack of kitties having fun. Buried my M8 in a creek much like that one last year; it still has red mud on it.

What sled did Stack have before? The '10 M8 is the cat's ***. =)

Ahh yes what a wonderful weekend in the Yoop and now just got back to Illinois. Had a great time riding with M8man and Mezz on Friday, the higher terrain was definitely starting to setup and is ready for the next dumping of snow. I am glad I was able to be coached through that creek, and admit I was a little weary getting her dirty on the first ride out.......That will change for sure!

I will say the new M8 motor is ridiculous, I rode down to Twin Lakes with my wife on Saturday and after the sled broke 100 miles I started to open it up a bit more.... Wow! I love it

Stack,

Ah yes it was good to get out and ride with you as well...I think you did operate like a Nancy for a short time but you started to come around...Soon enough it will act like a M1 Abrams tank and you can smack/climb/skim/or hit most things...Remeber it is always easy to tell someone else how to ride their sled!!

Out with the boyz

It was a good time, as always, & it was good to see Stack again. m8man never disappoints me with his antic's & Stack was more than a Nancy for a moment or two, but it was fun! It's even funnier to rib him. I will give you a break this time Stack, no shroom pitures, but just wait, it will surface again when you least expect it, LOL! I wish we had more time to explore some other area's, but, next time, & hopefully conditions will be greatly improved. I may have to put out the shout to Meester Bleezard again, we need some refreshment.-Mezz

Wow, looks like an awsome ride!
Stack, How are you liking the Slednecks gear? Noticed them in some of the pictures. The Shell Jacket and pants are their "Bomber" line, right? Keeping you nice and dry? I'm looking for some new ones and I'm asking around...

I really like the Slednecks jacket, and it has a very nice removable fleece liner. Very warm and very durable material; so far so good. I actual wore the fleece quite a bit during the fall, almost like a lightweight jacket, works great. Overall very impressed
