I wonder where the first sled I ever owned is....the new 84 SkiDoo Safari 377 that I bought from MW Marine in Hales Corners, WI is? It was either that SkiDoo or a new leftover 83 (??) John Deere something or other. The Doo just looked too cool.

Dad bought a 69 Panther for the family's first sled. Currently I ride a 2010 Doo with the 4 Stroke 1200.

Sweeperguy, by the looks of your front bumper someone's been relocating trees with your Lynx. These things happen!

First sled was a 1969 Johnson Chalenger with a JLO sitting right between your legs spitting gas on your junk. Currently on a 2015 Viper LTX DX, junk stays dry and warm now with the heated seat!!!

My main riding partner likes to point at stuff and slow down. Last year over in the Soo, he waved, then slowed down. Hit him hard enough to push the hinge up on my hood on my year old IQ, and pushed his snow flap up on his track. It HAD a screw holding the center to the bumper. His Assault had like 760 miles on it. Think I'd be used to it by now and automatically slow down when he points.
My dad had 69 Panther, with the 643 hirth motor, I think it was. when he got me the Lynx. It had been set up to race in the I-500. The gas tank behind the seat had been replaced by what I was told were pony kegs. 2 of them side by side, for safety reasons?

1974 Merc SR440 (slide rails baby!), current sled 2009 M8

The Lynx had slides and the steel cleats. Had to get up a head of steam to cross asphalt. Put cat paws (studs) square with 4 points on it, helped a little. Good thing back in the day alot of the roads back home stayed snow covered in the winter. And the Citgo station that had power mix in the pump was on the side of the building and unplowed, for sled access only.
