Hey Guys (and girls),
I have been coming up to the Keweenaw with the same group of guys for the past 16 years to enjoy snowmobiling the beautiful country.
Every year we stop in Lac la Belle and as we sit at the lodge eating and resting, we all talk about coming up in the summer and fishing on Lac la Belle but have never pulled the trigger. None of us has ever been in the area when it was not middle of winter!
We know the lodge well, but can any locals or others who have fished the lake share any information on what type of fishing we can expect? We are not serious fishermen, but do enjoy fishing and all the associated activities that come with a guys fishing trip - relaxing, eating, a few beers and bs'ing all night.
We generally fish in the Minocquoa, WI area on small lakes for bass, pike, and pan fish. A little walleye fishing too but we never work to hard to catch anything.
Anyone share any info on the fishing in Lac la Belle?
