We usually fish Lake Gogebic for the Walleye opener, this year that may be in question. I know they canceled the spring tournament and the ice on the lake is still very thick. Any thoughts as to how the fishing may be after ice out?
I read on a fishing forum that walleye fishing was excellent for 2 weeks after the last late ice out. They were talking about the Turtle-Flambeau Flowage. I would think it would be simular on Lake Gogebic. I intend to find out for myself this year!
