So the forecast has me completely bummed. It just seems that when snow is forecasted that far out the track always changes and we end up with crap compared to what was intially thought. Now this track has been pretty much set in stone since tuesday! I keep holding out hope that the forecast will change, like it usually does over this many days, and yet still talking rain.... I put over 80 miles on my sled last sunday and was thinking as it was -15 out that boy this could be a good ole fashioned MN winter.... So went from record low temps one weekend to rain the next!! Piss me off!!!!!!!!!!!!

That's why I don't pay any attention to weather past 3 days out . I got to finally groom and ride some miles after 2 years of garbage , now this

haha I was thinking the same thing. A week out the forecast never seems to have the same track and strength as a day or 2 out. this one has pretty much been unchanged since Monday, maybe we get lucky Saturday and the low shifts south east

There are so many variables in forecasting the weather, especially long range. Temp, wind, pressure all play a role and that's probably just a couple of the variables. Any long range forecast is just that, a forecast.

I hear ya though. I am sitting down in Chicago and they are forecasting thunderstorms on xmas day...what the heck. Just aint right. I do like to see the purple on John's forecast though.

Think snow.

after today and tomorrow of sun and mid 30's and rain and 40's by sunday I think we'll be starting from scratch on Monday. Regarding most of Wis.
