Mine shows Monday, August 6th.
Friday, August 06, 2012 1-4 DAY FORECAST:
A welcomed and well deserved break from the heat and humidity will be shaping up for the region by the second half of this week and beyond.
Things will be fairly quiet in most of the region again today, with just a few showers possible in the MN Arrowhead late in the day as a weak front slips through. By tomorrow, that same weak front will be producing chances for a few widely isolated showers and thunderstorms across IA and
southern sections of WI and lower MI.
By later Wednesday and into Thursday, a stronger cold front will work through all of the region and will produce chances for some showers and thunderstorms across the region. It's won't be an all day rain for any one locale, but most of the region does look to see chances for rains occur as this front works through.
Temps will be running in the upper 70's to low 80's across most of the Northwoods for most of the week ahead. Mid to upper 80's will occur in most other areas to the north of I-80 and 90's look to occur in most areas to the south of I-80. A few 100's may even occur in MO and SW IL tomorrow.
Temps will cool and humidity will drop behind the front for later Wednesday and Thursday.
5-10 DAY FORECAST:
The outlook for Friday and the weekend sees dry weather and fairly comfortable temps and humidity to occur, with highs in the Northwoods in the low 70's and 80's elsewhere.
The forecast for the first half of next week sees things to remain mainly dry, with a chance for some showers and thunderstorms in the west and north by later Tuesday or Wednesday. Temps will warm a bit as we head through the first half of next week, but should stay in the 70's in the Northwoods and 80's in the northern 1/2 of the region, with some low 90's in the south.
