It was a total delight to actually ride over Xmas/N.Y. week this year. The combination of 3 or 4 significant snowfalls, thawing, freezing and rain along with a lot of trail panning by local clubs have created a great base. Trails were extremely good this weekend even with record traffic.

Wow. Great to hear. Would you mind sharing what trails you were on?

I was not on the trails but looked at them from the road on the way from Manitowish Waters to Goochs in BJ, WI this afternoon and they looked really good. Talked to a few snowmobilers at goochs and they said pretty good. Those are Vilas County trails FYI.

100 miler and LMT in central Fo.Co. Base is hard and tight without a ton of loose snow to cause moguls.
Lots of day riders from the Fox valley dropping in Mountain (Oconto Co.) and north.
