Fox shock adjustment

My neice has a fox shock on the rear of her cat skid. There is a brass fitting at the bottom of the shocks side. In this brass fitting there is a chrome screw head that is screwed in all the way. Is this a adjusting screw or is this a port for changing the oil? I worked on this sled and she rode it last night and it was much better for her. However it nags at me that with everything set for her (very small) I cant get the back of the skid to bottom out even with my big ars on it. Thanks

As Garageguy said that is an air needle port for filling the shock with Nitrogen after a rebuild. You will probably need new lighter springs.

Per your previously posted thread, did you check & adjust the rear spring adjuster blocks? There are 3 settings, remember to drop from the highest to the lowest. For a rider of her weight, set them on the 1st (lowest) setting. If that doesn't work out, do as mikedrh suggested & have the shock revalved for a softer ride.-Mezz
